DM Engineers is providing comprehensive project management and construction services for Columbia University’s Baker Field, covering selected locations totaling 111,555 square feet. Acting as the primary liaison between CU Facilities and building occupants, DM Engineers is responsible for coordinating access, deliveries, and ID requirements for occupied spaces. The firm also communicates schedules, timing, and any potential disruptions to ensure minimal impact on occupants. All scheduling construction activities, updating progress schedules, reporting to CUFO Facilities, arranging building access, and performing quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) measures.
The Local Law 88 (LL88) implementation at Baker Field is currently in the closeout phase, while the related work at the Studebaker location has reached substantial completion and is progressing into the “punch list” phase. DM Engineers’ diligent oversight ensures smooth project execution, effective communication, and alignment with project goals and compliance requirements.
