DM Engineers PLLC is providing mechanical engineering design services for the replacement and upgrade of critical emergency power infrastructure at SUNY Upstate Medical University’s University Hospital. The project replaces end-of-life and non-code-compliant systems serving essential hospital operations, including the Emergency Department, Operating Rooms, Intensive Care Unit, and Administration Offices.

One Brooklyn Health System (OBHS) embarked on a significant renovation project for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located on the fifth floor of the CHC Building. This ambitious project involved transforming a 22,334 square foot area into a state-of-the-art 33-bed ICU. The primary objectives included relocating the existing 26-bed "ward-style" ICU to the new unit and converting seven unused Medical-Surgical (Med Surge) beds into seven ICU beds within the new unit.

DM Engineers is providing comprehensive MEP/FP engineering services for the transformation of a 9,660-square-foot inpatient behavioral health unit into a state-of-the-art, 21-bed Med/Surg step-down unit. The renovation is designed to meet current medical standards and adapt to ICU-level care when required.
