Columbia University engaged DM Engineers as a project engineer to manage the replacement of the fuel oil controls system while maintaining an operational 32-acre academic campus during construction and with a fuel system totaling over 170,000 Gallons of oil.
Controls upgrade included the replacement of all the system control valves, new HDMI panels and PLC software configuration, utilizing ladder, function block. New graphics and sequence of operations was developed for the upgrade. DM Engineers led the construction team during the executions, design reviews, controls development meetings, field installations and system commissioning.
