New Terminal One Redevelopment
JFK New Terminal One

Project description
DM Engineers PLLC serves as the Mechanical and Plumbing sub-consultant for Phase B of the JFK New Terminal One (NTO) redevelopment, supporting Arora Engineers as part of the Luis Vidal + Woods Bagot + Arora design team. Our role includes developing mechanical and plumbing systems that align with NTO standards, the PANYNJ Project Definition Report (PDR), TCAP Manual, LEED certification, and Envision Gold requirements. Our scope encompasses HVAC system design, load calculations, system zoning, equipment layouts, riser diagrams, and ductwork distribution plans, with integration to AlphaStruxure’s microgrid infrastructure. For plumbing, we design domestic water, sanitary, and storm drainage systems, ensuring code compliance and seamless utility integration for kitchens, restrooms, and maintenance areas.
DM Engineers is currently advancing the 30% Comprehensive Conceptual Design (CCD), including equipment sizing, system schematics, multidisciplinary coordination, and construction phasing strategies. Following the design, our team will also participate in Construction Administration services, including site visits, submittal reviews, and RFI responses, to ensure design intent is carried through to execution and project delivery.
